Federico Shephard, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Shephard founded Pervasive Learning Solutions, Inc. in 2005 to advance
the distribution of world class content in the areas of Finance, Leadership
and Project Management to businesses around the world. Federico Shephard brings
15 years of business experience in the areas of organizational learning and development.
He has worked in marketing, product development, sales and new business
development roles at companies ranging from Viacom, UNext LLC, and Accenture.
Mr. Shephard also brings years of experience in sales and management in a
start-up venture environment.
While at UNext, Mr. Shephard helped build university
relationships through the UNext business consortium:
The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business,
Columbia Business School, Stanford University,
Carnegie Mellon University, the London School of
Economics and Political Science.
Michelle Schenandoah, Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Schenandoah brings Pervasive Learning Solutions her experience in
global operations, management, marketing, and sales. Before joining
PLS she provided business development and consultative sales services
for Fortune 500 companies and directed global operations for the
International Institute for Learning. She served as an advisor to
the Native American Technology Journey where she selected
technology-based community projects to receive funding.
Before PLS, Ms. Schenandoah spent several years working in the
non-profit sector for the American Indian College Fund, raising
scholarship money for Native American students at tribal colleges
across the country. She also served as a consultant to tribally
based projects in Native American communities. Recently, Ms.
Schenandoah founded the International Institute for Value Management
(IIVM), a non-profit organization, providing certification and
accreditation for Value Management courseware as well as implementing
community based projects centered on core principles in Value Management.
Ms. Schenandoah has over fifteen years experience in the marketing
and sales of Native American arts and music in global marketplaces.
She ran her own business in the music industry which provided support
to Native American artists and consultation for culturally based
events to large corporations. She served on the board of directors
for the Native American Music Association, which was instrumental
in founding the Native American music category in the Grammy
Awards. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American and American
Indian studies from Cornell University and is currently a Juris
Doctorate candidate at New York Law School.
Dr. Joseph Onochie, Director, Certification Programs
Dr. Joseph Onochie is a thought-leader in the worlds of finance and risk
management. He is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance,
and Academic Director of the Executive MBA Program at the Zicklin School of
Business at Baruch College of the City University of New York where
he teaches undergraduate, graduate, and executive education courses
in managerial finance, derivative securities, investments, corporate finance,
and health care finance.
Dr. Onochie received his Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from
University of Ibadan, Nigeria, an MBA in finance at Tulane University in
New Orleans, a Master of Arts degree in economics, and his Ph.D. in financial
economics from University of New Orleans. Dr. Onochie has written numerous
articles and publications on topics concerning finance and economics for
magazines such as, The Journal of Futures Markets, Financial Review and
The Review of Financial Economics. His current research program includes
investigations on the effects of corporate finance decisions on health care
institutions. He is an active member in many professional organizations.
